Using your stash with Kori Kumi

Hi there
Me again!
I just had to share this with you all.
My favourite favourite favourite die of the moment from Spellbinders was calling my name, begging to be used.  But I was in the middle of tidying up and getting rid of all my scraps.  But then, it hit me. I rummaged through the scraps and found lots and lots of small but useful pieces.
And look what happened... I am utterly in love with this card!
I then had another idea....
Using some of the exquisite papers I die cut the white base card blank so I lost the corner.  I then glued the Santoro paper in its place to turn it back into a square.
I then placed all the die cut off cuts back on top of the Santoro paper.
I took an image from the packaging (which is a joy in itself), die cut a circle and glued it on!
The sentiment is also part of the stamp set.

What do you think?

Stamps, flower dies, bunting, papers, embellishments, how amazingly do they work together.
It is such a hard life doing my job!!! lol.

More Kori Kumi Sneak Peaks

So, what do you think?
This is one of the 8x8 double sided papers with a beautiful image on it.
What a shame not to use it.  It's yummy.

You get 3 sheets of each so I made the most of this design.
What a lovely coordinated card and gift bag.
Even the raffia and buttons are included!

Hopefully will be back tomorrow with some more sneak peaks...

What a beautiful product. with beautiful colours.....
I have made a hanging bauble with just one stamp, and pulled out some highlights with

Day 2........

Hello everyone!!
I am back
So here we go.
Card 2.
For this I have used:

Intense Pigment Stains
Kitchen Roll
Embossing Folder
Snowflake Die
1 of my New Stamps:

I keep referring to the way I use my inky kitchen roll, when I am on Hochanda.
Well here it is in action!
All messy and inky, I popped it into an embossing folder and spritzed with
water to make sure it was completely damp.
Run through your die cutting machine and leave to dry out completely.
It then turns stiff like paper.  It's amazing.
Here is the card I made with used, cheap kitchen roll.

Creative Expressions Thursday Blog Post

Hi everyone.
Today I have the cutest card to share with you.
I have been using the wonderful JustRite Stamps and I have fallen in love with this set.
It's called Lillies and Butterflies.
I used a Kraft Card Blank.
I took individual stamps and stamped onto my Kraft Card using a Versafine Ink Pad.
I love this pad as it picks up so much detail and is beautifully black.

I built up the stamps with the black in and then added a sentiment from my
Mystic Stamp set from HOTP (Hot Off The Press), which I featured on Hochanda earlier in the week.

I used my Faber Castell Polychromo pencils to colour some of the areas in as these pencils are highly pigmented and wax based giving a beautiful coverage.

This stamp set will be one of my "go to's" I am sure!!!

Hope you like it xxxxx
